Location. Prospect Place Bed & Breakfast is located in the Quapaw/Prospect Historic District of Hot Springs, Ark., at the foot of West Mountain. This bed and breakfast is directly across the street from the Hot Springs National Forest. The Josephine Tussaud Wax Museum, Blade Maxwell Theater of Magic and the Bath House Show are a short one mile walk. The Belle of Hot Springs Riverboat, a 220 person riverboat which traverses Lake Hamilton, offers sightseeing, lunch, or sunset dinner/dance cruises. Scenic mountain drives, horseback riding and hiking in the Ouachita Mountains are also popular pastimes in the Hot Springs area.
Hotel Features. Prospect Place Bed & Breakfast has a wraparound porch and a foyer with a wood burning fireplace and baby grand piano. A library adjoins the foyer, and the innkeepers recently installed a hot tub on the back patio. A full complimentary American breakfast, including two meats, potatoes, cooked to order eggs, and a daily special, is served in an elegant dining room. Home baked goodies and snacks are always available. Prospect Place Bed & Breakfast is a non smoking property. Guests can smoke on the front porch and backyard with permission from other guests.
Guestrooms. The inn features four guestrooms with private bathrooms and ceiling fans. High speed wireless Internet access is available in the rooms and on the front porch or back patio. Guestrooms have hardwood floors, and some have sitting areas, scenic views and jetted spa tubs in their bathrooms.
Expert Tip. None of the guestrooms at the Prospect Place Bed & Breakfast have adjoining walls, so neighborly noise is kept at a minimum.
Children under the age of 12 are not permitted at this bed and breakfast.
