Location. This lakeside resort in Orlando, Fla., offers 18 acres close to the many family attractions of Orlando. Located on Little Lake Bryan, the Grand Beach Vacation Resort is less than three miles from the unique shops, restaurants and entertainment of Downtown Disney. SeaWorld is four miles away, and Walt Disney World and Universal Studios are approximately a nine mile drive.
Features. Grand Beach Vacation Resort, made up of seven buildings, is connected by landscaped walkways that are complemented by gardens, palms and pine trees. High speed Internet access is offered in public areas, and DVD rentals are available from the resort's own library. Tennis, shuffleboard and basketball courts are available. This resort offers a freeform outdoor pool that includes a children's section with a fountain. Children can also be entertained with daily scheduled activities including arts and crafts, sand volleyball poolside karaoke and bingo.
Guestrooms. Each three bedroom unit at Grand Beach Vacation Resort has three bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave oven, stove, blender, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster and dishwasher. Each guestroom has a private, furnished balcony or patio. Satellite television, VCR and DVD/CD player are standard. Washer/dryers are included, and main bathrooms are equipped with jetted tubs. The resort does not have daily maid service, but a midweek cleaning is provided for stays of six nights or more.
Expert Tip. Fishing, canoeing and parasailing are offered beachfront at Little Lake Bryan, which as it turns out, is not so little as it stretches across 450 acres.

Renovation Notice:
This hotel will begin renovations on one of its buildings in September 2006. The work will involve replacement of tiles in guestrooms and public areas, with completion scheduled for November 2006 (completion date subject to change. The hotel expects that guests will not be disturbed by this work because noise will be minimal and will take place Monday to Friday, 8 AM 5 PM only. During this time, hotel amenities will not be affected.
